Every one of our stores falls into one of the following categories:
Supermarkets
Ideal for smaller towns and district centres, their sales area varies from 10,000–25,000 sq ft, with scope to employ between 110 and 230 new colleagues.
Superstores
Our Superstores provide an anchor for high street redevelopment and facilitate the regeneration of brownfield sites. Their average sales area is 44,000 sq ft, and they employ on average 400 colleagues.
ASDA Supercentres
Our largest format stores provide our most comprehensive offering. They have an average sales area of 85,000 sq ft and they employ up to 680 colleagues.
Living stores
Launched in October 2004, our ASDA living stores have proved a huge hit.
