Launched in October 2004, our Asda Living stores have proved a huge hit
Asda offers customers a broad range of products: from our popular George clothing range to homeware and electrical goods.
Generally, the layout of these stores sees our George range on the ground floor and homeware, electrical, music and video, toys and baby products on the mezzanine level.
Asda Living stores are naturally suited to retail parks.
The Living format
There are currently 24 Asda Living stores across the UK, all with ample parking facilities. Site selection is made simple, with standard criteria for retail parks and store layout, including:
- Model store is 20,000 sq ft
- Full cover mezzanine floor
- Minimum height to underside of haunch, i.e. six metres
- Minimum unit width of 30 metres
- Minimum visible frontage of 20 metres
- Require open A1 (non–food) consent
