Glenrothes
Address: Queensgate Industrial Estate, Fullerton Road, Glenrothes, KY7 5QB Opened in June 2009, this Asda store covers 50,000 sq ft and is open 24–hours a day.
Chelmsley Wood
Address: 341, Bosworth Drive, Chelmsley Wood, Solihull, B37 5EX.
Opened in June 2009, this Asda store covers 41,000 sq ft and is part of a £60 million redevelopment in partnership with Solihull Council and Fordgate.
Rugby
Address: 12 Chapel Street, Rugby, CV21 3EB
After a ten year wait, the regeneration of Rugby town centre is now complete. The 42,000 sq ft store forms part of an extension to the existing Clock Towers Shopping Centre, which also includes 16 additional retail units.
South Shields
Address: 3 Coronation Street, South Shields, NE33 1AZ
Asda invested £16 million in this new 41,000 sq ft superstore.
Bury St Edmunds
Address: Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3SP
Opened in March 2009, following a supportive campaign by residents on the west side of Bury St Edmunds, this Asda store has a 36,000 sq ft sales area.
Bradford (Asda Living)
Address: Forster Square Retail, Bradford, BD1 4JB
A continuation of our expansion in non–food stores, Bradford Living offers a wide selection of products, including our GEORGE range.
Keighley
Address: Bingley Street, Keighley, BD21 3ER
Opened in July 2009, this ASDA store covers 40,000 sq ft and is designed with a dual entrance linking the store to the town’s main college.
Ipswich Stoke Park
Address: Stoke Park Drive, Ipswich, IP2 9EG
This District Centre store opened in August 2009 and covers 26,000 sq ft. Asda brought much-needed investment in this under–developed centre in Ipswich and created up to 200 jobs.
Pershore
Address: King George Way, Pershore, WR10 1QU
A former Co-op store acquired by ASDA, this 13,000 sq ft store opened in August 2009 after a refurbishment.
Lancing
Address: South Street, Lancing, Brighton, BN15 8AG
This smaller store covers an area of 11,000 sq ft and was acquired from Co-op. Its size makes it a friendly, community-based store that helps anchor smaller high streets. The store was opened in August 2009.
Wellington
Address: Longforth Road, Wellington, TA21 8RQ
Opened in August 2009, this store covers 10,000 sq ft and is one of the smallest stores in our estate. After acquiring the store from Co-op, it was refurbished and 26 new jobs were created.
Llanelli (Asda Living)
Address: Trostre Retail Park, Llanelli, SA14 9UY
Opened in October 2009, this ASDA Living store has improved the range and affordability of non-food goods available to purchase in Llanelli.
Maidstone (Asda Living)
Address: St Peters Street, Maidstone, ME16 0SR
The final ASDA Living store to open in 2009 is the second of our popular non-foodstores to open in Kent.
Pillgwenlly
Address: East Market Street, Newport, NP20 2BH
Our second store in Newport regenerated the town’s former cattle market and adjacent brownfield sites. Over 350 local people are employed at the store.
